Terms and Conditions

All our prices are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are inclusive of  14% vat. Please note that our prices are subject to change without prior notification.  All rates and offers are subject to availability at time of booking.

• Regrettably no children under the age of 12.
• Suggested tipping for staff – R1000 per tent per day
• 50% deposit is due on booking in order to secure dates.  Should booking take place less than 30 days before arrival, the full amount will be due.
• Refundable deposit of R1000.00 for breakages

• Only written cancellations will be accepted. Please ensure you receive a written acknowledgement of your cancellation form us.
• Cancellation 45 days prior to arrival = 85% refunded, 30 days prior to arrival = 50% refunded, 14 days prior to arrival = 25% refunded, Less than 14 days prior to arrival = 0% refunded.

The owners, management and staff of Shakila and Village D’ Afrique accept no responsibility whatsoever, for any damage, injury or loss to person or property in anyway.
