Village d’Afrique is NOT a big five reserve, however there is an abundance of game, such as Nyala, Kudu, Blou-Wildebeest, Zebra, Impala, Baboon, Vervet monkeys and many other common small game. Needless to say, the bird watching is plentiful, varied and rich in species.

There are a number of fair to challenging 4X4 tracks, which can be driven in your own vehicle should you so desire. Please note, that a vehicle with good ground clearance and low range with diff-lock/traction control is advisable. Needless to say, we live by that well-known saying, “tread lightly” as we treasure this environment and want it to remain as beautiful as it is for generations to come. As such, we request that you remain on the roads.
